Laura Bladen
Laura Bladen is an established artist whose practice spans more than four decades. Grounded in formal training at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, her work balances structure with intuitive exploration.
Influenced by Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso, and more recently Joe Vaux, Bladen’s paintings engage shifting perspectives, layered imagery, and a nuanced use of color.
Her work resists fixed interpretation, instead inviting sustained looking and open-ended response. Across her career, she continues to refine a visual language that is both grounded and evolving.
